About Me

My connection with movement began in ballet at age six. While I explored other sports and activities over the years, dance was where I first experienced movement as a meaningful form of expression not just exercise. Creativity and curiosity have remained constants throughout my life—through reading, visual art, dance, music, and guitar.

I began my university studies in painting and drawing at Concordia University in Montreal before transferring to York University in Toronto, where I completed my Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Kinesiology and Health Science. Although art and movement can seem separate, I see both as ways of creating, communicating, and connecting with ourselves and others.

Professionally, I have worked in a gym setting which focused on exercise for folks with varied needs and abilities, provided sideline first aid support to athletic therapists in football and basketball, and clinically as a physiotherapy assistant. Across these settings, I learned that meaningful and effective wellness care begins with seeing the whole person and meeting them where they are on any given day.

My approach has been shaped by creativity and science, by my own injury/physical health/mental health history, and all the people I've met along the way. I value person-centred evidence & trauma informed care. I aim to help clients feel understood, empowered, and confident in their own capacity for change. Together, we can build practical, sustainable strategies for movement, strength, recovery, nutrition, stress management, and long-term wellbeing—while leaving room for play, curiosity, and enjoyment. I believe the mind, body, and soul are closely connected, and that supporting one can positively influence the others.

Outside of work, I enjoy playing guitar, photography, hiking, line dancing, reading, crafting, and spending time with friends and family. I also serve on the board of directors for The Art of Music Project, a music-focused nonprofit.
